RSPCT with One Vision Counselling
We aim to work with trainees from different training organisations who are committed to a professional career in counselling. We look for trainees who are empathetic and professional and those genuinely wanting to make a positive difference to the lives of others. You should be working towards completing your UKCP BACP accredited or approved registration. Please see application form below.
What we offer
We will provide you with a supportive, structured, and caring environment including fortnightly supervision sessions to support your client work. We have a duty of care to you and will therefore select clients that are within your training competency level. We will however require a fitness to practice letter from your training provider before a placement can be offered.
Our approach
- We encourage and integrative approach so tht the care we give meets the needs of our clients. We work with both the personal and social factors that cause human distress. We are not presecriptive but let you explore different methods that you and your supervisor feel will be most beneficial to the client.
What choose to work with us?
- We offer both short and longer term therapy. For some of our clients with more higher needs client longer term is often the right approach given you the opportunity to develop your model of integration. This option for longer term working allows you the scope to address long standing and complex issues at a deeper level than is possible in short-term work.
