Code of Ethics and safe practice

Suitability of our Training candidates:
In the interests of ethical practice and safety, we require that candidates are of suitable emotional and psychological stability to undertake any of these courses. Should the interviewer have any concerns about your emotional readiness, further information may be required (with your informed consent) from a professional who has been involved in your health and well-being such as a counsellor or other mental health professional.
CRB/DBS Clearance.
Applicants must declare whether they have any criminal convictions or any pending criminal proceedings. For the course levels 4, 5 and 6 a full DBS application would usually be carried out by your placement agency or workplace.
Reaching Solutions Psychotherapy & Counselling Training (“RSPCT”) reserves the right to amend, change or rearrange course trainers, design or sequence of events at its own discretion.
Every submitted course application form is subject to the provision of the Data Protection Act. At no time will your details be passed to anyone other than those within our “RSPCT” team, placement provision or professional governing bodies.
