” … a joint endeavour in which a practitioner with the help of a supervisor, attends to their clients, themselves as part of their client practitioner relationship and the wider systemic context, and by so doing improves the quality of their work, transforms their client relationships, continuously develops themselves, their practice, and the wider profession . (Hawkins and Shohet, 2012).
The Care Quality Commission (CQC, 2013) describes three distinct types of supervision: managerial, clinical and professionals, and recognises that they often overlap. Counselling supervision includes elements of each of the above . It provides and opportunity for counsellors to gain new insights into their work and offers a space for reflection and review all aspects of their practice.
We provide one to one supervision at the following rate:
Qualified practitioners: £65 per hour
Student practitioners: £25 per hour
Reports £30 each
